Meet Joanna Linden

Raised by hippie parents on a communal farm in Rochester, Michigan, Joanna learned the value of community from an early age.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Joanna is no stranger to prolonged grief and hardship. A college drop out, Joanna struggled in her young adult life raising a severely disabled daughter and navigating her way out of poverty and divorce.

Tragedy hit again when, Joanna the oldest of four, felt the weight of supporting her family during the tragic death of her younger brother, David.

With resilience, determination, and grit, Joanna built a wildly successful career as 2X CEO and professional fundraiser, raising $150M in philanthropic impact for regional and international organizations.

As an award-winning community leader and innovator, Joanna has been recognized by CNN, NBC News, ABC News, Fox News, Austin Statesman, Austin Chamber of Commerce, Austin Business Journal, Tribeza, Austin Way Magazine, and Austin Under 40 for her inspirational story and work.

Joanna earned professional certifications in fundraising, mental health, and neuroscience coaching. She serves on the Board of Directors of Arc of the Capital Area, is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and a committee member for the Austin Chamber of Commerce.

She is a passionate advocate for vulnerable populations, is a frequent keynote speaker on topics related to resilience, empowerment, and purpose. She enjoys free time in nature and prioritizes her family, fitness, and friends.
